SOUL TALK - the male influence

What we know about God - He is omniscient, omnipotent and omni-present.  What we know about man - we're not.  But considering our souls are immortal maybe we are.

Ok - how is this considered a part of the male influence?  I'm sure I'll string that in before this entry is done.  There was a reason this stuck into my brain to write.  So consider for a moment our immortal soul -- Can we possibly live in omniscience?  If indeed our souls are immortal (which I believe the Word), do we know things about our future?  Can we sense when bad things and good things are going to happen to us?  When we dream are those tales of things to come?  Can thoughts that we have no idea where they came from, be things we already know?

My mother often talks about being in tune with my three brothers and me.  Sometimes we even surprise or annoy each other when we say the same thing at the same time - like twins are known to do.  But maybe these examples are too vague or easy.

Take dreams.  Last night I had a bad one.  Not a demon chasing me and about to kill me - that one was a recurring dream of the ex (go figure).  My dream told a tale of sadness - sadness that should be avoided.  The kind of dream that left me with the thought that if this indeed happens it would lead to sadness.  Here's my question in all of this -- is your immortal soul capable of guiding your life so that you indeed can live the joyful life that was intended?  Not that make believe fairy tale kind of hype joy, but the joy from the love of God that you carry in your heart even in the not so desirable times.

Male influence?  I've been thinking about my ex lately (and not in a good way - so please).  Thinking about my father.  Thinking about the father who spoke to me, as we sat in the bleachers at yesterday's little league game, of how he would have it no other way - referring to how he supports his children in all they do and wants deeply for their happiness.  He is the example of God's love for His children.  Some men get it.  (I've only known a few women who don't get it, and I have no respect for them.)

Lastly I think about my thoughts, my dreams and wonder is my soul - that is connected to God warning me of a fate that doesn't have to be?  Is your soul warning you of something?

Thanks for reading.

MINI ME -- the Male Influence

I think there comes a time in everyone's life when they are confronted with the mirror image of themselves.  They are in their own presence and it's surreal to say the least.  That happened to me today.  I saw and heard my mini me.  My mini me happens to be a boy who stands about 5 feet four inches and has my eyes and my smile, and now as I learned my thought pattern.  He's going to be accused of thinking too much one day by some insignificant fool, and he'll find that rather strange in itself.

But for now he's happy.  He asked me today if I thought I was "witty".  To that I responded "Yes" -- exactly what he meant was to follow.  He then proceeded to tell me that I set up our family on purpose, it was my master-plan.  Explain?  He then went on to tell me how my name Regina means Queen.  His name Chase means Hunter.  Kelli's name means Warrior Maiden.  Gregory's name means Watchmen.  And there he stopped.  To which I added Jairus's name means the Enlightened One.  He thinks this is perfect and that I created some kind of dynasty.

I'll let the little one have have fantasy but I did tell him that it wasn't me - it was God (the Master's plan) who gives names and yes they all have a particular meaning for your life.  I kept to myself that the one - the ex who slithered away, well his name means fifth, which to me means nothing.

Funny, the mind of a great thinker.

Forever Changed

Have you ever seen something you didn't want to see and your life was forever changed?

Me too...

Have you ever been told something you didn't want to hear and your life was forever changed?

Me too...

Have you ever said something you didn't want to say and your life was forever changed?

Me too...

Therefore see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil, and remember life will forever change if you live it, but God's love is unchanging.

Ever Wish Your Initials Were AIG?

It seems that company, amongst a short list of others is getting rewarded for bad business decisions.  The worse part is they hosted another extravagant celebration for their great fortune of finagling tax-payer money and did not invite all the tax-payers.  Not cool.

But...

Change has come and God is good.

Many blessings to you.
