Official Business

My day was filled with official business -- the business of bureaucracy at its best.  I - as a 2010 census worker - along with my fellow countrymen/women were Bond James Bond, and told to take our mission seriously.  I even heard the old "if I tell you then I have to kill you" bit.  Funny thing -- that person might not have been kidding.

Beware, anyone who used to gossip with someone who now works for the census bureau -- there will be no more flapping of the lips.  We will be fined and imprisoned for breaching confidential information concerning the census.  Also, if a census worker is fired he/she can NEVER run for Federal office (any federal office).  

It's official.
