CURB YOUR LACK OF ENTHUSIASM - PLEASE

Although this is Thursday the day after Gregorysm's Day today is a good day to use this gregorysm.  CURB.

CURB is the actual edge of the sidewalk.  The more beaten up they are it seems the more someone has mistreated it in some kind of way.  TO BE CURBED is the art of treating or mistreating someone like a curb.

My point on this non - Gregorysm Day?  Making it--

It was reported that in a time span of under two hours, three census workers were rushed to the emergency room in Lancaster, California for major dog bites.  Not one - Not two - THREE!  What the heck?!  On my route the past couple of days while directly working with another census lister we encounter many large estates with large cujo dogs.  BIG BAD DOGS.  The thing about these dogs out in these remote areas was no gate.  They were just allowed to roam their yards and viciously attack whomever crossed the line.  They did not cross their property line but their snarling teeth dared us to cross over.  My co-worker had been bitten just the day before and I wasn't about to be bitten.  We did the smart thing -- stayed in the car, marked the property as close as we could get it estimated and moved on to list another day.

People in Lancaster (I do have a few readers from that area), please inform your family, friends and neighbors) -- CURB YOUR DOGS!  Chain them!  Crate them!  Send them elsewhere!  Be considerate of others and especially your local mail carrier who has to deal with your monster every day but Sunday.  Not cool.

Ciao Y'all
