Ethos

"Yes, that's right folks it's Gregorysm's day!" she declared in her best game show host voice.  Her face was plastered with a phony smile and her eyes shown deep pain.  Behind the eyes and the smile there lived a soul who hated having to declare week in and week out about the day that seemed to take the place of hump day.

Don't worry about me, I'm exercising my novel writing skills.  Cool!

OK - ETHOS... thinking it's not the water in Starbucks when it comes to the dictionary according to Gregory.  In fact I have no idea what it means.  I only know when he uses it and can continue to speculate that it fits the emotion for the moment.  

sample sentence:  Thomas lost all of his ethos when he begged for forgiveness after wrecking the car and getting arrested for driving without a license.  

So, ETHOS is something that can be lost.  Do you have to find yours to lose it?
