"I Got You"

Thinking it's a Brooklyn thang -- these 3 little words "I got you" from NOTORIOUS, used by several characters, several times throughout this informative biopic.  Yeah, some would this is a tale told by one narrow side of the spectrum, but than again, aren't they all told that way?

Not being big winded here, because this picture carries it's own weight (no pun intended) -- just let me say, albeit exhausting, story wise, (lots of draaaama) the cinematography is wonderful.  The cast stunning -- many of whom are more attractive then the bodies they were playing.  The direction and timing very nice.  Maybe only a bit more story connection needed about how "Biggie's" life changed for the better right before he was killed.

I was skeptical about going to see this film especially here in the Stepford-like Santa Clarita Valley (although they didn't show it in the bigger, nicer theater in the better part of SCV).  The movie house wasn't crowded but all those who were there varied in gender, race, and age, and everyone seemed to like what they were viewing.  My prediction is the actress who portrayed "Lil Kim" Naturi Naughton, will be around awhile.

Good stuff.
Ciao Y'all
